Cash earns first team All-State
Lordstown’s Sarah Cash dominated the Northeastern Athletic Conference with 22.5 points per game. The 5-foot-10 junior pushed the Red Devils to this year’s Division IV district title game in Rootstown.
Tuesday, she made the Division IV Associated Press All-Ohio first team.
In Division III, Champion’s 6-0 senior Mackenzie Kiser scored 19.3 points per game and led the Golden Flashes to the Division III district title game at Mineral Ridge High School.
Her performance put her on the Division III All-Ohio second team.
Lowellville’s Kaye Solak, who averaged 15.3 points per outing, got on the Division IV third team.
Pymatuning Valley’s Kelsea Brown and Ursuline’s Tanaya Beacham are special mention in Division III, while Grand Valley’s Jessica Vormelker, Ursuline’s Sydney Beasley and Newton Falls’ Brooke Barreca made honorable mention.
Windham’s Jessica Isler and Bristol’s Ally Jones made special mention in Division IV, while Maplewood’s Allison Bell and Brooke Dawson, Windham’s Dari Heller and Lowellville’s Rachel Durbin got honorable mention.
