Annual Kinsman car show set

KINSMAN PLANS SHOW: The fourth annual Kinsman Car Show hosted by the Gustavus Masonic Lodge will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday “parking on the grass” at the site of the former Badger High School off Main Street. Registration starts at noon. The event will include door prizes, music, food and T-shirts. Call 330-876-2184. The Kinsman Area Rotary will host a chicken barbecue for 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the township park. The Kinsman streets will also be lined with yard sales this weekend.

TRASH AND TREASURE: Liberty Assembly of God, 6779 Belmont Ave., will hold a car trunk and treasure sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Vendors selling both new and used goods and crafters are welcome by calling Joyce at 330-720-4706 or 330-539-0003. The event will be held rain or shine. Proceeds will benefit the church’s women’s ministry.

HOWLAND TO CREATE MAP GUIDE: Howland Township is working with Municipal Publications to update the township’s community map and guide. Plans are for 12,000 copies of the color publication to be mailed free of charge to each resident and business in the community. The guide will include descriptions of services and activities provided by the township, businesses and other attractions. Sponsorships of the guide and advertising is being sought for the project.
