Raymond D. Thomas 1937-2013

MILTON TOWNSHIP – Raymond D. ”Pluto” Thomas, 76, died Friday, July 19, 2013, at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren.

Raymond was born Jan. 30, 1937, in Point Pleasant, W.Va., the son of Harold and Lucy Sayer Thomas.

He served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany. Pluto was a welder for Quick Service Welding in Kent.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Conner Thomas; his children, Jonathan, Evelina, Christopher, Harvey, Jesse, Rachel and Bill “B.J.”; his grandchildren; his great-grandchildren; and his half-brother, James.

He was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.

Military honors will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, where Raymond will be laid to rest.

Arrangements for Raymond were entrusted to the Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls.
