Theresa A. Liste 1917-2013

NILES – Theresa A. Liste, 95, died at 12:57 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30, 2013, at Grace Woods Assisted Senior Living in Niles.

She was born Dec. 19, 1917, in Youngstown, the daughter of Angelo and Marie Simeone Napolitan.

Theresa was employed as a riveter at General Fireproofing in Youngstown during World War II, where she worked on plane wings, and at Plakie Toys in Youngstown for nine years, retiring in 1971.

She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Society, Infant Jesus of Prague Guild and T.O.P.S. of Niles for 25 years and was a festival volunteer.

She enjoyed crafts, playing cards and watching golf and was an avid sports fan, especially of the Cleveland Indians and Browns.

Her husband, Edward Fell, whom she married in 1951, died June 1952. Her husband, James Liste, whom she married April 15, 1961, died March 1982.

She will be deeply missed by a sister, Julia Cicchillo of Champion, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, John Napolitan, Tony Napolitan, Joseph Napolitan and Leo Napolitan; and two sisters, Ann Zucco and Mary Lombard.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles where The Our Lady of Mount Carmel Society and Infant Jesus of Prague Guild will conduct prayers at 4:45 p.m. and The Mount Carmel Bereavement Ministry will conduct prayers at 6:30 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles with the Rev. John-Michael Lavelle officiating, preceded by a 9:30 a.m. prayer service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
