Sat., 12:55p.m.: Grohl Alley hit with graffiti

WARREN — Warren Police were called to Dave Grohl Alley this morning after someone spray-painted it with graffiti.

Around 15 painted murals along with a steel sculpture have been covered with paint.

The alley, which runs parallel to the 100 block of West Market Street, is dedicated to 13-time Grammy Award winner Dave Grohl. The Warren native was the drummer for Nirvana and founder and frontman of the Foo Fighters.

This is a developing story. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
