Thu. 9:06 p.m.: Browns draft CB Gilbert

With the eighth overall pick of the 2014 NFL draft, the Cleveland Browns have drafted cornerback Justin Gilbert from Oklahoma State.

The Browns were slated to have the fourth pick of the draft, but traded with the Buffalo Bills for the ninth pick. For the trade, the Browns also get Buffalo’s first round and fourth round pick in 2015.

However, the Browns then switched places with Minnesota to pick Gilbert at No. 8. For that pick, the Browns gave the Vikings a fifth-round and ninth-round pick this draft.

With the first overall pick, the Houston Texas picked defensive end Jadeveon Clowney from South Carolina.
